Set amongst sand dunes and umbrella pines, the bold design, sleek lines and elegantly simple interiors of the hotel focus attention outwards – on the historical and natural elements of the terrain and the drama and romance of the Atlantic Ocean.
All 142 guest rooms, including 16 junior suites, have an area of at least 64 square meters, with Atlantic and Oitavos suites being double that size. All guest rooms have their own balcony and views over the ocean and/or the golf course.
His architect, José Anahory, has come up with an uncompromisingly modern construction of steel and glass, its spacious, open-plan interior divided by moveable panels and flooded with natural light. The colour palette is inspired by the sky and the ocean: in other words, blue – blue floors, blue walls, blue furnishings – with flashes of silver and grey. It’s original, cosmopolitan and starkly beautiful.
