The National Final was played in two rounds, the modality was Stableford Individual ¾ Handicap, on Guardian Bom Sucesso in Óbidos.
On 19th June, players had the opportunity to conduct a training and back in the evening was served in the Clubhouse, a cocktail with the full support of SOGRAPE – Mateus Rose where the draw was raffled for the next day.
At night time to enjoy the beautiful Guardian Bom Sucesso Resort where they stayed.
The competition took place on 20th and 21st June and was sponsored and full support of TVI, in addition to also have relied on the fundamental support of M80 in communication as Radio Official, and the Global Media Group.
After breakfast, participants were welcomed at the Clubhouse for delivery playing cards, equipment and gifts from sponsors.
Before the competition that began in ‘shotgun’ scheduled for 9:00 am, the players were able to perform a key heating on the driving range.
The competition was supported by the EUREST, official sponsor of catering, with the field bar served both days.
At the end of each day of competition players presented their results and conference cards at the Record Tent accompanied by a Welcome drink SOGRAPE – Mateus Rose.
The awards ceremony took place after lunch on the balcony of Clubhouse overlooking the golf course, closed by a tombola prize offers from sponsors. This year with the support of Tourism of Morocco and attended by the Chairman of the WCGC, José Guerra, who toasted us with his friendly presence.
The winning team was the NORGOLFE, consisting of players Rui Coelho and Ricardo Pereira who will represent Portugal at the World Final which this year takes place in the fantastic golf course Oitavos Dunes located in Cascais.
