World Corporate Golf Challenge has sealed a partnership with Andalusia as Host Region for the next World Final, to be held in La Reserva de Sotogrande, Cádiz.
WCGC, which event fulfilled its 20th anniversary in 2013, is set as the biggest golf corporate tournament in the world.
Since its birth in 1993 in the UK, the WCGC has attracted thousands of participants from over thirty countries each year, forming a network of golf tournaments for companies around the world. Among its contributors are three media leaders like Time, Fortuneand Golfing World TV, which provide presence at the event in all the world.
Jose Guerra, Chairman of WCGC has shown “his pride to be able to hold our event in Sotogrande, one of the top golf destinations in Europe. During the week-long celebration of the World Final, attract nearly 200 people of the world business and becomes a platform to promote Andalucía in their respective countries; with the quality of La Reserva Golf Club, any golf lover will be proud to come and play to Sotogrande.”
For the Department of Tourism of Andalusia, holding an event of this kind in Andalusia is an opportunity to promote the attractions of the region, both in tourism as being a landmark destination in the golf industry.
