Among all the tourist attractions that Cascais has, it stands out for being the home of some of the best golf courses in Europe.
Host Venue of the WCGC World Final since 2015, Cascais is only a 30-min drive from Lisbon International Airport and part of the Lisbon Golf Coast, an area with more than 20 golf courses, elected in 2007 and 2016 by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) as the best golf destination in Europe. For those who want to know more about the history and traditions of the village, but without entering a pure and hard tourism program, a couple of hours spent between the heart of Cascais in the Centro Histórico (Historic Center) is a good idea. Get to know the inevitable connection to the sea and the fishing tradition, explore the various streets of the Portuguese sidewalk, make a stop to have a drink in one of the bars and proceed to the Marina, one of the stops for anyone looking for some animation.
