It was officially confirmed last week that Casino Estoril will host ‘An Evening at Casino Estoril’ on Friday 24th June, a party night where competitors, guests and sponsors will enjoy live music while awards for the World Final Licensee and Guest Competitions will be presented by WCGC Ambassadors including Luis Figo.
Casino Estoril, the largest casino in Europe, is located in Estoril, a village located 11 miles southwest of Lisbon, Portugal. During World War II it was reputed to be a gathering spot for espionage agents, dispossessed royals, and wartime adventurers. As a result it was the inspiration for Ian Fleming’s 007 novel Casino Royale.
