On September 25th, after the World Tour of Los Angeles and Toronto, the 2018 Guojiao 1573 National Golf Challenge and World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) China Qualifiers held the first domestic competition with nearly 100 VIP Guojiao members from Shanghai gathering at the Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club to enjoy this wonderful event.

It is reported that WCGC China qualifiers in the new season will have many changes, the most obvious part of which is the upgraded scale of the event – from 11 cities competitions in 2017-2018 season to 18 cities competitions for 2018-2019 season. The coverage of the event is also more extensive, from the east of Dalian city to the west of Urumuqi city, and from the north of Beijing to the south of Haikou. Secondly, the competition period will be extended from one month in the previous season to four months in this season. In addition, the launching ceremony and National Finals of the new season will be held abroad, creating a precedent for the domestic golf events to start abroad.
Two days after the competition in Shanghai (September 27th), the event entered into the city of Urumqi, the important hub of China’s westernmost provincial capital city and the Silk Road, where there is a golf course farthest from the ocean in the world – Xuelianshan Golf Course, to compete for the second game. On October 16th, the event will return to Jiangnan Water Town to be held in Hangzhou, which is known as the “heavenly paradise” in China.
The following competitions will be held in 15 cities including Suzhou, Beijing , Shijiazhuang, Qingdao, Dalian, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Xi’an, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Haikou. From January 16th to 19th 2019, Guojiao VIP members who have been qualified to the National Finals from 18 cities competiton across the country will gather at the Forest City Golf Course in Johor Bahru, Malaysia for a three-day firece competiton to fight for the national winners of WCGC China to represent Guojiao 1573 in the next World Final. This season’s competiton will adopt such a qualifying rule – in each competiton six players of the gross and net champion, runner-up and third place will directly qualify for the National Finals. About 60 members of the Guojiao Club VIP members were invited to participate in this Shanghai competiton.
It is reported that this season’s WCGC China event has won the title sponsorship from Guojiao 1573 and Guojiao Club.
