World Corporate Golf Challenge are delighted to confirm the International Chamber of Commerce Ghana have signed as Official License Holders of the WCGC. ICC Ghana will launch their first event in 2017 with the winners going to on to represent their company and country at the 2017 World Final in Cascais, Portugal.
At the beginning of 2015, the International Chamber of Commerce became the Official Global Partner of the World Corporate Golf Challenge. The new venture is set to expand international participation, branding and media attention, making the event the “must-play” golf tournament of the year for business executives around the globe.
WCGC’s Business Development Director Oliver Dury commented, “Our recent partnership with the ICC continues to go from strength and to strength. We are really excited to have grabbed the attention of the ICC in Ghana. We are certain the WCGC will provide a great platform for businesses in Ghana to network”.
International Chamber of Commerce Ghana, one of the world business organisation’s 89 national committees located worldwide, was re-launched in March 2014. The relaunch, in one of Africa’s fastest growing economies, is set to strengthen the presence of ICC in Africa and further expand ICC’s extensive global network that currently comprises 6.5 million enterprises in over 130 countries.

ICC’s strengthened presence in Ghana is expected to bring international business concerns to the attention of Ghana’s government. ICC Ghana is overseen by the Chairman Alhaji Asoma Banda and the Secretary General Emmanuel Doni-Kwame, who is also Managing Director of World Trade Centre Accra.
ICC Ghana Secretary General said, “ICC Ghana is delighted to be part of WCGC presenting to Corporate Ghana the opportunity to network through Golf. We look forward to launching the World Corporate Golf Challenge Ghana in March 2017”.
