The waiting for 2020 competition days calendar of the World Corporate Golf Challenge Italy has finally ended.
The complete agenda of qualifying competitions for the new tournament will begin on Thursday March 5th at Franciacorta GC to end at Parco de Medici GC on Wednesday September 23rd, just one week before the two national semi-finals that will be played on September 30th at Antonella Golf and the day after at Golf Carimate: on the 1 day of October we will then discover teams/companies that will qualify to play from 10 to 12 November at PGA Catalunya to challenge the Italian title on the famous Stadium Course of the Spanish resort.
Qualifying competitions will be up to 25, played in 6 different regions. The calendar will welcome back the exclusive Golf Club Milano, that joint with Villa d’Este, Barlassina, Tolcinasco, Molinetto, Franciacorta, Ambrosiano and Valtellina will represent the rich offer in Lombardia. Thanks to the cooperation with Wingolf, for the first time the tournament will have up to four competition days dedicated to corporates located in Lazio, among which Golf Club Olgiata, hosting venue of the last Italian Open. In Piemonte are confirmed qualifying days at Royal Park, Castelconturbia and Biella Le Betulle, joined for the first time by La Margherita GC. A rich range of opportunities will be also dedicated to Toscana and Veneto, with the first appearance of Castelfalfi, La Bagnaia, Poggio de Medici and Villa Condulmer. Emilia Romagna, the most central region between the tournament competition area, will host two out of four bonus days on the beautiful bermuda grass golf courses Ducato La Rocca and Le Fonti.
All competitions days will provide complimentary buvette for players and will be valid to directly qualify teams/companies for tournament semi-finale and to raise World Corporate Trophy that will help teams enter the national final at PGA Catalunya, even if not qualified from semi-finals at Carimate and Antognolla. The winners will compete for a place in the World Final to be held in Cascais, Portugal, from July 1 to 5, 2020.
