Kinloch Anderson, a family company founded in Edinburgh in 1868, renowned for kilt making, tartan trousers and finest Scottish clothing, has been until now, one of our World Final Sponsors. Due to this agreement, WCGC was honored with a unique and official tartan, registered by The Scottish Register of Tartans.
As every tartan that is designed by Kinloch Anderson has a story behind it, the official WCGC tartan is no different. For the first time in its 22 year history the 2013 final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge was played in Scotland on the Carrick Golf Course on the banks of Loch Lomond. This course was named after its Designer, Doug Carrick, a surname associated with the Clan Kennedy tartan, therefore chosen as the basis of the design.
The colours of the tartan are a tonal mix of blues and greys which reflect the corporate colours of the WCGC logo and a fine white line passes through Saltire blue to represent the Scottish flag.
This tartan has been on show for the last two years worn by our officials. Why don’t you think about getting your WCGC Tartan from Kinloch Anderson in time for the 2015 World Final?
